Dalia Elcharbini (b. 1989) is a Palestinian Canadian contemporary artist based in Toronto. Her art has been collected internationally and exhibited in galleries and permanent collections across Canada and the US. Her body of work is often inspired by her heritage, the cosmos and philosophies she lives by like Taoism, the Chinese philosophy of aligning oneself with the flow of nature and cultivating a louder intuition. Her work aims to tap into the human mind and elevate the viewer into a higher state of consciousness. Her art also serves as a vessel connecting her to her Palestinian roots living in diaspora.

Her primarily mediums are oils, graphite alongside different metal leaves including silver and 24 karat gold leaf. The most premeditated aspect of her creative process is analyzing the way light interacts with her paintings. This big emphasis on light, its contrast against the mediums and the role it plays in the overall composition of a piece is what gives her works this whimsical multi-dimensional feel to her works in real life.
